Angela received her Master of Arts degree in Education at the University of Northampton in the UK before joining the faculty of STU in August 2014. Prior to that, she worked for Xanterra Parks and Resorts at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, USA.
Angela’s greatest passion is language teaching. She has taught spoken Chinese to American colleagues in Arizona and to international students at the University of Northampton. While abroad, she travelled extensively throughout the US and the UK, getting to know the culture and people in both countries.
Her research interests include teaching methodologies, materials design for language teaching, academic writing, simulation and role-play in the English language classroom. While Angela is career-focused, she is also very active in her personal life. Her hobbies range from playing piano to photography. As an instructor in the ELC, she loves to bring joy, enthusiasm, and a multicultural background for English learning to her students.
