This activity seeks to lead students to develop confidence through practice. By engaging in brief drama and role-play types of activities, students learn to speak out and to focus on conveying meaning effectively. In doing so, they overcome many of the insecurities that may have resulted from a previous emphasis on hypercorrectness.
