Lecturer

Originally from Turkey, I have always loved traveling and writing. I have traveled to several countries and spent 12 years in the United States. During my seven-year stay in New York City, I got my BA in English, focusing on Literary Criticism and Philosophy, from Hunter College. I have lived in Chicago, Florida, New York, Alaska, and Las Vegas. In Florida, I was offered a full scholarship by the U.S. Department of Education to pursue an M.A. in TESOLat Florida Atlantic University. I worked at the same university as a Graduate Assistant.

I moved back to Turkey in 2013. As an ESL lecturer, I worked at Yasar University from 2014 to 2019 in Izmir, Turkey. I am a passionate photographer, creative writer, and an avid bicyclist.
