Lecturer

Paul is from the “Palmetto State” of South Carolina in the USA, where he enjoys both beautiful sandy beaches as well as tranquil forested mountains. He is a graduate of the historic University of South Carolina with a degree in Political Science and Business. Immediately following graduation Paul accepted a job with First Citizens Bank in South Carolina. He served in the personal finance industry for two years before he returned to graduate school in Saint Louis, MO. Paul has since worked for public schools in the US and joined the ELC staff in 2012.

Outside of the classroom you can find Paul reading in the CILL, running up and down the basketball and tennis courts, or exploring downtown Shantou in order to find someplace that serves a good cup of coffee. Paul also enjoys discussing philosophy and post-modernism, experiencing all forms of art, figuring out how his camera works, and watching American college football.
