Lecturer

Jiin has worked with language learners from different ages and various cultural backgrounds since she received her degrees. She has taught and lived in Hawaii, Arizona, and Illinois (U.S.), Christchurch (New Zealand), and Henan province. Her favourite quote, which has helped her through the challenges in life is that everything will be OK in the end; if it is not OK, it is not the end.

Jiin is especially interested in the areas of second language acquisition, bilingualism, literacy, academic writing, and motivation.

In her spare time, she likes dancing, doing arts and crafts, and watching drama series in different languages.
