Vanessa was awarded a MA degree in English Language and Literature by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Her main research interests cover comparative literature, cross-cultural studies, 19th-century British literature, etc.

She regards teaching as her lifetime career and mission. Before joining STU, she worked as an IELTS trainer and gained the Advanced TESOL certificate. She has helped many students from various universities win ideal IELTS results and postgraduate offers.

As an English teacher at ELC, Vanessa has guided her students to enhance their critical thinking and language skills in a relaxing learning atmosphere.
