Camilla Wang graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s degree in Education in 1995 and was one of pilot ESL teachers officially certified by TESL Ontario. She served as Vice Principal of TAIE International Institute in Canada from 1997-2003. Camilla has over 10 years experience in teaching English as a second language to new immigrants in Canada and 5 years experience in teaching Americans learning Chinese. Before she came to Shantou University, she served as an instructor teaching Mandarin and Chinese culture at Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. She co-translated the book <> from English into Chinese in the early 1990s, which is listed as a classical reading book for graduate students in anthropology. With her over 20 years living experience in North America, Camilla has a strong understanding of cross-cultural communications, and she is happy to return to her home country and share her experiences with her students in China. She loves students and enjoys interacting with them at all levels.
